NEW SCHOOL MOTTO

Dawson ISD held a student contest to come up with a new school motto. Finalists were Isabella Romero (Purple dragons rise with courage and might, forging futures bold and bright), Miley Howard (Like a dragon, strong and true, we burn bright in purple hue), and Ivan Ramirez. The winning motto was submitted by Ivan Ramirez -- LEARN WITH FIRE. LEAD WITH HEART. Congrats to these students!!!

    With approximately 12.5 students per teacher, Dawson ISD offers more individualized attention than the state average of 14.7.
