Meet the Dragon Staff -- GLYNNIS KELLEY

GLYNNIS KELLEY has been in education for 31 years, and this is her second year at Dawson. She teaches 3^rd – 5^th mathematics.  Glynnis is from Lubbock, and graduated from Monterey High School.  She attended Texas Tech University, where she received her B.S. in Elementary Education and her M.E. in Education Information Technology. 

Glynnis has one son who is now 30 years old, and he married his best friend last May.  He has a 5-year-old daughter who is the love of Glynnis’s life!!!  She loves getting to spend time with her when she can, and she also loves to crochet.

One thing that Glynnis is really excited about for this school year is working with both her previous and her new students.  She loves the challenge of teaching math!

Something interesting you might not know about Glynnis is that her teaching experience includes teaching for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She was “in” for 11 years!!!!

Dawson ISD is extremely fortunate to have GLYNNIS KELLEY as part of the Dragon Staff for the second year!!
